Pathways, MI In the Community

"Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean." - Ryunosuke Satoro

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Each individual in a collaboration brings with himself or herself unique characteristics, but when everyone is grouped together, all of those characteristics add up together and become something greater.  Pathways, MI collaborates across our communites in several efforts, initiatives and events.

Party for Pathways: 4th Annual Gala Fundraiser

4th Annual Party for Pathways Gala Logo 458x425

Thank you to everyone who helped to make the 4th Annual Party for Pathways Gala Fundraiser such a successful event!  Macatawa Bay Yacht Club hosted our event on Saturday, September 24, 2016-- it was a fun-filled evening of dining and dancing!

Serving more than 11,000 children, adolescents and adults throughout 10 counties in West Michigan each year, Pathways has become a trusted resource for our region. Through our collective work with our systems of influence, we have been successful in supporting individuals through recovery; increased men, women and children's ability to cope with trauma; ensured children have a safe place to call home; strengthened the capacity of child care providers; and invested in the development of our youth to ensure our next generation has the resilience necessary to successfully navigate their future.

Pathways Pedalers for 2016 UCC

Ultimate Cycle Challenge...where you can help others fight cancer by simply riding a bike!!

Thank you to all those who rode and donated to the Ultimate Cycle Challenge on February 26th-- YOU helped to make the event such a huge success!

For many it was an emotional event for those there, who were celebrating and remembering those they have loved and lost, and those who are still fighting the battle against cancer.  During that time riders also enjoyed live entertainment, received health information and gained cancer awareness.
This year we surpassed our goal and raised a total of $5,244 for the Livestrong Foundation!
Not only did we surpass our goal, we also won the 'Top Fundraiser' award for the second year in a row, none of which would have been possible without your generosity!

In addition, a local philanthropist generously doubled the donation to Pathways, MI for every dollar donated through our team to Livestrong-- tripling your money and impact in support of our mission to provide life transforming services to children, families, and our community!

We are proud to have been part of such an amazing event and thrilled to have raised funds in support of the Livestrong Foundation, whose mission is to inspire and empower cancer patients and their families by giving them the tools, resources and support needed during their cancer journey and beyond.
Together we made a difference in the lives of children and families!
Women's Service Day 2016

Women’s Service Day 2016, in its 15th year, continued to extend its reach in making a difference for women and children in the Holland area. This growing movement (180+ women strong) volunteer their time, skills and talent helping non-profit organizations.

Volunteers continued last year's renovation project to make our facility more welcoming by prepping and painting our entrance ways, staff kitchen and breakrooms, assembling new kitchen furniture for installation and landscaping our courtyard.  These renovations will help us to create a soothing environment for people that come to Pathways, MI under duress.

Working both morning and afternoon shifts, Women's Service Day volunteers came together for a networking lunch where they donated raffle items and helped raise over $2,305.00 for Pathways MI!
