TTQ is a fun, high energy 9 week highly interactive program designed exclusively for boys 3rd-5th grade! It encourages them to explore and develop their individuality and strengths.
Program goal: To increase boys’ health and wellness while preventing high risk behaviors by using physical activity and training. Participants will be challenged physically as they train for a 5K (3.1 mile) run. They will also learn to develop a healthy lifestyle, social/relationship skills, how to make healthy decisions, and be valued for who they are.
Curriculum-based program overview:
- Teams consist of approximately 10-15 boys for every 2 coaches
- Kick-off event
- 18 practice sessions (lasts approx. 90 minutes immediately following school dismissal, which are mostly on school grounds although some coaches run off campus)
- Spring and Fall final events (school participation in both semesters depends on school needs)
- Healthy snack (donations appreciated)
- Learning activity
- Strength and stretching exercises
*Total Trek Quest programs are coached by committed adults, who have completed program training, CPR/First Aid certification, central registry clearance and background checks. Coaches are always needed; please consider becoming a coach!

TTQ Advisory Board
The Total Trek Quest program has a community based advisory board which assists program coordinators to ensure the program is connected to the needs of the community.
The TTQ Advisory Board assists program coordinators in problem solving and creative administration of the program.
