March Premier Mentor Award: Laura and Paul Ives Total Trek Quest
The Michigan House of Representatives and the Ottawa County Mentoring Collaborative are excited to present the March Premier Mentor Award to Laura and Paul Ives of Total Trek Quest.
The Ives are extremely dedicated to the Total Trek Quest program. They have committed to coaching this team and recruited others to help them. They really motivate their boys and encourage them to do their best. They provide snacks for their team, even though the program would usually provide the snack. They have generously offered to pay for all the scholarship requests for the fall and spring season this year.
The Premier Mentor Award recognizes mentors in Ottawa County who have shown a strong sense of commitment and longevity with the mentoring program where they volunteer. This award is presented each month to an outstanding mentor in our community by Michigan House of Representative members Dave Agema (R-74), Joseph Haveman (R-90), Holly Hughes (R-91), and Amanda Price (R-89). Congratulations Laura and Paul, for an honor well deserved! |
